9th grade math skills

More skilled workers are needed to reduce the unemployment rates.

The government needs to focus their efforts at training the unemployed to gain useful skills that company actually needs. One way to solve this problem is offering classes that are catered to the unemployed. It could also serve as a gentle warning to the current students that what is being taught at school is actually important, however poorly the classes may be taught.

Quote: [All candidates at Ben Venue must pass a basic skills test showing they can read and understand math at a ninth-grade level. A significant portion of recent applicants failed, and the company has been disappointed by the quality of graduates from local training programs. It is now struggling to fill 100 positions.]
